It's 8 PM and all three kids are asleep. Tom just scooted off to Melville Pond to try to catch a big fish and I have some time to myself as well (Opal is sleeping next to me) We are all doing terrific. Cole is doing climbing camp at a huge rock climbing gym about 30 minutes away and having a blast. Jack is still into the many transformers he received for his birthday. We have found a great preschool for him. He will be with kids his age that are taking another year before starting kindergarten, as well as a few kindergarteners. Haven is almost in underwear full time and no longer uses her pacifier. What a big girl! I'm keeping busy with the kids and Opal, who is just the best puppy we could have ever asked for. I've made a few friends but mostly have spent time with family this summer. Last weekend we had all of the Ferguson grandchildren at the Cape and wow was it wonderfully hectic! Next week we head to Maine for a few days with the Varney gang and we are very excited. Tom has started work and his first case is booked for next week. Newport Hospital is quite a change from Naval Hospital Guam and Tom looks forward to operating there. Well, I guess that's it. I wanted to post some pictures from recent weeks. Enjoy!

That is such an adoreable puppy! Finn has been giving us some trouble with growling but, we seem to be working with him to change that! Glad to see an update of all of you! And oh, did you know we get to see all of your beautiful faces every day via a big sign outside of the base??
Hello Lauren! The picture of Haven and Opal is MOST adorable!!! So cute! I love seeing pics of your family. Hope you are all doing well - I would Love! to chat with you someday! Love, Venessa
HAHA! I have a picture in my web album of your BIG sign! I had to make a U-turn because I couldn't believe my eyes! I love the pictures of the kids, especially Haven and Opal and the feet...oh how precious! Miss you guys SO much!
I love the update and pictures! We really miss you all. We also love seeing the big sign. Every time we come back from being out in town the kids get excited to look for your sign!
It was good to read what is happening with your family---Drew mentions Cole occasionally, tagging him as "my best friend, Cole." I hope Cole is adapting to school and has new best friends. Tell Haven congratulations on the "big girl project!" I myself can remember being elated at wearing lacy panties. And I know Jack is your semper gumby son. Take care and God bless.
